Set Up Marcora in Microsoft Teams

Each person connects their own Marcora account, once.

Anyone in the workspace who's on your Marcora team can use it. To bring a teammate in, invite them to your Marcora team.

    Get the app

    Select Download the Teams app to get the Marcora app package.

    Add it to Teams

    A Teams admin adds it for the whole organization in the Teams admin center. Or, if your organization allows custom apps, upload it yourself from Apps in Teams.

    Start a chat

    Chat with Marcora one-on-one, or add it to a team and @mention it in a channel. For a private or shared channel, add it to that channel first. It does not work in group chats.

    Connect your account

    Type Connect, or just ask. Marcora sends you a private Connect card: sign in to Marcora and confirm. If you'd already asked something, it answers as soon as you're connected.

    Ask away

    Ask a question or hand it a task. Type stop, or select Stop, to end a run.

Once our Microsoft Teams Store listing is approved, you'll add Marcora from the Store instead of uploading it.

  • Not available in group chats.

  • Add it to each private or shared channel separately.

  • In channels, its replies are visible to everyone in the channel.

  • Guests and people from other organizations can use it in channels once they're members of your team in Marcora.

  • Commands

    Type Help, Connect, or Stop.

  • The first connection chooses which Marcora team it works with. For a team, that's someone who administers the Marcora team.
