Content

Content is the unit of output in MarketCore — every blog post, email, case study, one-pager, and campaign asset. Content items replace the older "Deliverable" and "Canvas" concepts; the MCP creates all of them through a single create_content tool.

Two Creation Paths

1. Blueprint-Driven

Select a blueprint (a reusable template) to guide AI generation. This is the structured path — the AI follows the blueprint's defined format, tone, and input instructions. Generation is asynchronous and typically takes 3–5 minutes.

In older app versions and some API field names (e.g. deliverable_id, deliverable_count), this was called a Deliverable.

2. Freeform

For open-ended drafting, skip the blueprint. You have two options:

  • Use AI to Draft: Type a prompt (e.g., "Write a LinkedIn post about Q4 trends") and let the AI generate a starting point.
  • Start Blank: Open an empty document to write manually or use the AI Assistant inline.

In older app versions, freeform content was called a Canvas.

Adding Context to Your Prompt

When creating content, you can enrich your prompt with context so the AI works from your specific data rather than guessing.

File Uploads & Images

Upload source files directly — MarketCore converts them to text:

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT
  • Data: CSV, XLSX
  • Images: PNG, JPG (text extracted via OCR)

Live Research

Need fresh data? Click the Globe Icon to launch an AI Research Agent. It browses the web, finds relevant information, and attaches it to your prompt.

Reference Documents

Attach existing content as a reference and ask the AI to build on it — for example, "Write an email based on this blog post."

Always-On Context

Brand Foundation is automatically included in every generation — you never need to repeat your brand voice or company overview. When generating inside a project, the project's context (brief and project context items) is also included automatically.

Persistence Tip: After adding files or research, you can save them to your Reference Library to make them available for future prompts across all projects.

Managing Content

  • Status (In Progress / Ready): Mark a document Ready to signal it is finalized.
  • Visibility (Private / Team): Private is visible only to you; Team is visible to your workspace.
  • Project association: Link content to a project to keep work organized and benefit from project-level context.
  • Category: Assign a content category (e.g., "Blog Post," "Email") for filtering and sorting.

Collaboration

  • Comments: Highlight any text to leave a contextual comment. Clicking a comment in the sidebar scrolls the editor to the exact referenced passage.
  • Real-time Presence: See who is currently viewing the document.

Sharing Externally

Share content with external stakeholders via a secure, branded link — no MarketCore account required.

  1. Click the Share icon in the sidebar to generate a unique, token-based link.
  2. Set an optional expiration date, or revoke access at any time.
  3. Links are tagged noindex and won't appear in search results.

Track engagement via view counts — internal team views are excluded, so you get accurate data on external interest.

How Content Relates to Other Concepts

  • Blueprints define the template structure. Content is the output.
  • Projects group related content and supply project-scoped context.
  • Reference Library provides team-wide context injected automatically during generation.
  • Brand Foundation provides foundational brand and voice context, always included in every generation.
