Instructions

When to use: before you tell the user you can't reach an app, and before you send them to connect one. Say only what find_app returns, and never claim an app is offered unless it appears in the result.

Looks up the apps Marcora offers to connect (for example Gong or Fathom), by name or by what they do (for example "call recordings").

What each match carries:

  • app and name: the app's id (for example gong) and the name to show the user.
  • description: what the app does.
  • connection_state: the user's own connection. connected; not_connected (including a connection that was started but never completed); or expired (it worked before and needs renewing).
  • brings_in_calls: true when add_context import_from can bring in this app's calls.
  • connect_link: opens the Integrations page on that app. Offer it for an app that is not connected. Nothing connects until the user acts.

The result also carries query, total_matches (how many apps matched before the limit) and message. apps is empty when Marcora offers no such app.

Once an app is connected, use its own tools in your session to find what you need, then pass the call ids to add_context import_from.

Read-only: it changes nothing and makes no request to the app itself.

Example prompts:

  • "Can you reach my Gong calls?"
  • "Which apps can Marcora bring call recordings in from?"
  • "Is Fathom connected?"

Links: present connect_link to the user exactly as returned. Never retype, shorten, or rebuild a link.

Examples

Check whether call recordings can be brought in

Look up call-recording apps before telling the user an app can't be reached.
